CAI

Regular liaison with all concerned Ministries, Government Departments and other Authorities involved in the Courier Trade in India.
Permanent Member of the SCOPE Air Committee set up by the Government of India, Ministry of Commerce, Department of Infrastructure. CAI representatives regularly attend all SCOPE Air meetings to ensure that the members' interests are protected and to provide necessary inputs for the betterment of the Indian Courier Industry.
Regular liaison with Airports Authority of India (AAI) on issues concerning issuance of Airport Entry passes and charges for the same, x-ray screening charges, trolley charges and other facilities provided by AAI to the Courier Industry.
Regular liaison with Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) to provide inputs on matters concerning Courier Security and also for implementation of all security procedures prescribed by BCAS.
Regular interaction with Customs Authorities for smooth clearance of all outbound and inbound Courier bags.

Other Memberships held

CAI is an active member of the Indian Merchant's Chamber (IMC) and seeks their assistance and intervention from time to time in helping to take up CAI's cause with various Ministries, Government Departments, etc. (Click here to see IMC Certificate).
